Super Mario Advance 1 is a 2001 launch title for the Game Boy Advance that features two classic Nintendo experiences: a complete remake of Super Mario Bros. 2 and an updated version of the original Mario Bros. arcade game. 

Key Features of Super Mario Bros. 2 Remake

The primary adventure takes place in the land of Subcon, where players must defeat the evil toad Wart. 

• Playable Characters: You can choose between Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Princess Peach, each with distinct abilities. Luigi can jump high, Peach can hover, and Toad is the fastest at picking up items.
• Unique Gameplay: Instead of jumping on enemies to defeat them, you pluck vegetables from the ground and hurl them at foes.
• Technical Upgrades: The GBA version features enhanced 32-bit graphics with sprite scaling and rotation effects, as well as digital voice acting for all characters.
• New Content: It adds "Ace Coins" to collect in every level, a robotic boss named Robirdo, and a "Yoshi Challenge" unlocked after beating the game. 

Mario Bros. Classic Mode

Included as a secondary mode, this is a 1–4 player remake of the 1983 arcade original. 

• Gameplay: Players defeat enemies by hitting the floor from below to flip them over, then kicking them off the screen.
• Multiplayer: Supports link cable play for competitive or cooperative action. This specific version of Mario Bros. was included in all four titles in the Super Mario Advance series.
