This extremely rare 8’1” x 11’7” rug is a made in Spain antique dating to early 1800s. Crafted of single-warp Spanish knot, the rug is the finest representation of Iberian tradition of vine scroll ornamentation and distinctive pictorial elements. Made from soft wool on silk foundation, the rug is durable and truly an heirloom artifact meant for posterity. Rug’s nature inspired color palette of charcoal, sage, brown, gold, beige and coral goes lighter or darker with given lighting and differing angles of views.
