Yu-Gi-Oh Nightmare Troubadour is a strategic card-battling RPG released in 2005 for the Nintendo DS. As the first title in the franchise for this handheld, it uses the dual-screen setup to display a 2D playing field on the bottom and dynamic 3D monster battles on the top.

Gameplay Mechanics

• Shadow Games: At night, players can be intercepted by "evil duelists." Losing these high-stakes matches results in an immediate Game Over.
• Difficulty & Progression: Gain experience to level up and earn points to purchase new booster packs at the shop.
