Tortilla Tea Towel

We discovered this style of weaving and absolutely had to share it with you all. Why is it so shaggy? These towels are used in Guatemala to keep tortillas warm. The shaggienesss of the fabric helps trap heat to keep the tortillas warmer for longer. We love this towel for more than just tortilla wrapping. It looks great in a kitchen or a bathroom or even on a table a little runner.

Ethically made by foot loom weavers in Antigua and Nahuala, Guatemala.

Machine wash cold, or hand wash cold, tumble dry low with like colors.
