Gameboy Advance non oem, Mega Man Battle Network 4 Blue Moon video game cartridge. Game cartridge comes with a plastic protective case just like the picture shows.

Released in 2004 for the GameBoy Advance, Mega Man Battle Network 4 Blue Moon is a tactical role-playing game where players control 6th-grader Lan Hikari in the real world and his cyber-companion, Mega Man.EXE, within the digital Net. This installment centers on a global tournament arc as Lan and Mega Man compete to be chosen for a mission to stop a massive asteroid from colliding with Earth.

Key Gameplay Features

  • Soul Unison System: Replaces the "Style Change" system from previous games. Mega Man can "synch up" with the souls of defeated Navis to gain their unique elemental powers and special abilities.
  • Dark Chips: Powerful but dangerous chips that offer massive firepower. Using them comes with a steep price: overusing Dark Chips can cause Mega Man to lose permanent HP or certain abilities as he is consumed by "evil".
  • Emotion Window: A new visual indicator showing Mega Man’s mental state during battle. Successful counterattacks can trigger Full Synchro, which doubles the damage of the next chip, while taking heavy damage can trigger a Rage state.
  • New Game Plus: To unlock all unique souls and collect every chip, players must complete the game multiple times (Normal, Hard, and Super Hard modes), as only three souls are typically obtainable per playthrough.

Blue Moon Version Exclusives

Like its sister version, Red Sun, Blue Moon features unique content that requires trading to fully complete:

  • Exclusive Souls: Includes Aqua Soul (AquaMan), Number Soul (NumberMan), Metal Soul (MetalMan), Wood Soul (WoodMan), Junk Soul (JunkMan), and Proto Soul (ProtoMan).
  • Visual Differences: Features purple-themed menus and specific room decorations, such as a portrait of Lan and Mayl above Lan's bed and his first ever BattleChip on his shelf.
