Pocky and Rocky with Becky, known in Japan as KiKi KaiKai Advance, is a top-down shoot 'em up (or "run and gun") video game released for the Game Boy Advance in 2001. It is the fourth entry in the Pocky & Rocky series and was developed by Altron rather than the series' original creator, Taito. 

Story and Gameplay

• Plot: The story follows a shrine maiden named Pocky, her tanuki companion Rocky, and their new friend Becky as they attempt to stop an evil ghostly hydra that has escaped its seal and unleashed mythical creatures across the land.
• Playable Characters:
• Pocky: A Shinto priestess who uses magic cards and a wand.
• Rocky: A tanuki (raccoon dog) who throws leaves and uses his tail.
• Becky: A second Shinto priestess, originally from a series spin-off, who joins the duo for this adventure.
• Mechanics: Players move through seven linear stages, battling waves of enemies and collecting power-ups to improve their attacks or survival. Unlike previous entries, this version is strictly a single-player experience where you choose one character at the start. To progress to a level's boss, you must first find a hidden key. 

Regional Differences & Reception

• Difficulty: The game is notably shorter and easier than its SNES predecessors, typically taking only 30 to 45 minutes to complete.
• Hit Points: In the original Japanese version, players die in a single hit. The North American localization by Natsume Inc. increased this to two hits per life to make it more accessible.
• Expert Mode: Beating the game provides a code to unlock a more challenging "Expert Mode" featuring different dialogue, new enemy types, and tougher boss battles.
