Luna Cover Base #18 is an elastic camouflage cover base designed for natural nail strengthening, leveling, and decorative nail coating. This base contains pigment and fine glitter particles, allowing it to provide both nail structure support and an aesthetic decorative effect in one product. It is especially suitable for clients who prefer natural-looking manicures with additional nail plate reinforcement.

This cover base features high pigmentation, providing strong coverage of the natural nail plate and helping to mask imperfections, discoloration, or uneven nail surfaces. The formula is elastic and flexible, helping maintain manicure durability for 3–4 weeks without detachment when applied correctly.

Important note: This product is not suitable for leveling long nails without prior reinforcement. Recommended leveling thickness is 0.5 mm.

Application Method

1. Remove previous coating. Do not file nail shape; leave approximately 2 mm extra length if needed for leveling.

2. Lightly buff nail surface using a 220 grit file or 100 grit buffer.

3. Perform manicure and clean nails. If using removers, wash hands with soap and water afterward.

4. Degrease nails using Nail Prep — perform two cleaning passes using 4 wipes total (5 nails per wipe). Clean cuticle and sidewall areas using an orangewood stick wrapped with a wipe.

5. Apply Rubber Base underlay using a flat gel brush with rubbing strokes. Cure for 60 seconds.

6. Remove sticky layer.

7. Apply Cover Base #18 for leveling. Cure for 90 seconds.

8. Remove dust and optionally thin the free edge by filing 1 mm from the nail center if nails are very thin.

9. Remove stickiness again and apply gel polish or camouflage base layer.

10. Finish with top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after final curing to preserve shine.

Lamp power requirement: 36–48 W (use original certified lamp only).

Storage

Shelf life: 24 months.
After opening: use within 18 months.
