Dragon Quest Monsters: Caravan Heart released exclusively in Japan in March 2003, this is the third installment in the Monsters spin-off series. However, this is a Full English Translation!
- Story: You play as a young Prince Kiefer (from Dragon Quest VII) who is whisked away to the world of Torland (the setting of Dragon Quest II). He becomes the leader of a caravan to help a boy named Luin find a cure for his sick parents.

Unique Gameplay:
- The Caravan: Unlike previous Monsters games where you just collect creatures, you manage a caravan of up to three wagons.
- Party Composition: Each wagon is guarded by one monster and can hold up to four human companions (like Fighters, Mages, or Mappers) who provide support in battle.
- Monster Hearts: Instead of standard breeding, you use a "Reform" (Tenshin) system. You evolve monsters by giving them two "Monster Hearts" collected from defeated enemies.
- Resource Management: Movement requires "Food." The game features a route-mapping system to help you find the most efficient paths to save resources.
